Today was the only in-class day to finish your amusement parks! If it is not finished in class, it must be completed for homework this weekend. Additionally, weekend homework is to read Module 11.

Practice Free Response Question (use last night's reading if you need to!)
Scenario: While walking barefoot, you step on a piece of glass. Before you have a chance to consciously process what has happened, you draw your foot away from the glass. Identify and explain the 3 types of neurons that deal with information regarding this painful stimulus. See the attached file for project instructions. Contact me with any questions.

Read pp. 78-83, and complete Multiple Choice #1-8.
Classwork: Read Module 7, Answer Multiple Choice #1-5 and FRQ #2 (handed in).
For those who have not finished looking up their news story, please finish for Thursday. Be sure to include the title of your article with your answers. (prompt below) Your homework for Thursday is to read pp. 50-53 in the textbook and copy vocabulary. Make sure you are reading the chapters as well, and NOT just copying the vocab from the margins!

Also, if you did not submit your binder for its first check today, I will collect them before the quiz tomorrow. If you did not finish this free-response question in class, please finish it for homework. Due Tuesday, September 11th.
Use the textbook to complete the first 2 columns with the subfield and description. Then, select 5 subfields that interest you, and research a psychologist working in that field. In column 3, include the psychologist's name and a bit about the work they do.
Due Wednesday, 9/5: Choose a behavior or mental process and find the biological, psychological, and social-cultural factors for that behavior.
