Read and take notes on Module 40: Social Motivation.
CW/HW: Create your playlist, follow the instructions on the attached handout. Be sure to read them thoroughly! **Remember that the songs can be about somebody experiencing that motivation in the song, or it can motivate you in that way. These are open to interpretation, as long as you fully explain how it relates.
Extra Credit! Create the actual playlist on youtube (instructions here)
If you are using another forum (appleplay, spotify) just make sure it is public and can be shared. Instructions:
Have fun! If you did not finish your Motivation worksheet (or were not in class), you must finish this in addition to reading and taking notes on Module 37.
99% of the questions are coming out of the ones YOU wrote in class today! You should still study!
Today in class we completed the Cognition Stations. If you were absent, you must hand in all the work that you were here for. Homework - Read Module 36: Thinking and Language, copy down vocab and complete multiple choice #1-4, and FRQ #2.
Use the Module 35 Note Taking Guide as you read the chapter.
Read the attached scenario. Come in tomorrow with your list of 12, and prepare to discuss with your group to decide your top 5. If you were not in class today, you will be put in a group tomorrow. *Tips*
Please remember! Whenever you're answering the questions, even the ones about how things are shown in the movie, ALWAYS explain it from the psychological perspective. For example, when discussing the types of memories in the orbs, don't just say "mostly happy." Think about if they are meant to represent explicit or implicit memory, what stage of memory they're in, etc. and be sure to explain your thinking.
If you were not in class, you will have some additional notes to get, but to do the assignment, please first watch this Crash Course video. Then, complete the attached reading assignment. Questions handed in.
Listen to the podcast (link below) and answer:
