Listen up to minute 20:15 of the podcast "In 1493, Columbus Shaped A World To Be" and answer,
After completing the SPICE notes on your society, create a new presentation in Google Slides.
Your presentation should be about 5 slides, not too wordy, and should include images, video, or any additional aids to help your peers learn about your society. Expect your presentation to be about 10 minutes with note taking. I suggest to start by watching the Crash Course video, because we know how excited John Green was to talk about them. Watch it here. Then, read and take notes on the Mongol Empires - Chapter 17, pp. 368-378. Stop at "After the Mongols" and do not read "Reverberations." ![]()
Read and take notes for the remainder chapter in the previous post.
Please vote on the 4 issues you would like to investigate this year. Please only vote in your block period and only vote once.
Due Tuesday @ 10pm. Read and take notes on Chapter 19: Increasing Influence of Europe up through p. 415. (You do not need to read anything on p. 416). Take good notes. Hint, Hint. ![]()
If you were absent on Tuesday (A) or Wednesday (B), you MUST get the Africa map from me and notes from a classmate. Homework: Study remaining Asian countries for quiz Thursday/Friday AND read and take notes on the textbook from "African Society and Cultural Development" (p. 393) to the end of the chapter. ![]()
